These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of akhilasarees.in (the "Website") and any purchase you make from Akhila Sarees ("we", "us", "our"), whether through the Website, WhatsApp, Instagram or any other channel. By placing an order you accept these Terms.
1. About us
We are an India-based seller of sarees and related products. Our registered contact details are listed at the bottom of this page.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order.
3. Products and descriptions
- We make every effort to display product colours and details accurately. Actual colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting and the handmade nature of handloom products. Minor irregularities in weave are characteristics of handloom sarees, not defects.
- Blouse pieces, lengths and fabric details are as described on each product page.
- Stock is limited. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will inform you on WhatsApp and offer an alternative or a full refund.
4. Orders and confirmation
- Placing an order through the Website sends us a pre-filled WhatsApp message with your cart and details. An order is confirmed only when we reply with an order confirmation on WhatsApp.
- We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or undeliverable location. Any payment already made will be refunded in full.
- We may share a short video of your saree before dispatch so you can confirm the product.
5. Pricing and payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout.
- Accepted payment methods: UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.), bank transfer, online payment links (where offered) and Cash on Delivery (COD) on serviceable PIN codes.
- For prepaid orders, dispatch happens after payment is received. For COD orders we may call to verify the order and may request a small advance for high-value items.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors on the Website and to change prices without notice; confirmed orders are not affected.
6. Shipping and delivery
Shipping timelines, charges and coverage are described in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather or events outside our control.
7. Returns, exchanges and refunds
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and sets out when exchanges, cancellations and refunds are available.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Website, including the Akhila Sarees name, logo, photographs, text and designs, is our property or used with permission and is protected by Indian copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written consent.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, placing fraudulent orders, or using automated tools to scrape content.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern amicably.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Orders are governed by the Terms in force at the time the order is confirmed.
